Helping Frontline Workers Build Resilience and Prevent Burnout
A short-term support cohort designed for frontline professionals such as social workers, counselors, advocates, crisis responders, EMS personnel, and law enforcement, to manage secondary trauma, compassion fatigue, and prevent burnout.
Registration
Registration is required, and space is limited to allow for adequate sharing among participants.
Our online support group meetings are held using a simple, secure, and user-friendly online tool. These virtual gatherings provide an opportunity to gain valuable coping strategies and connect with peers/colleagues who understand your circumstances.
When you register, we will provide further information about these online meetings and instructions on how to join by video through a computer or smartphone.

Hosted by the NC Victim Assistance Network. This group provides an opportunity for victims of assault to connect with and support each other. Open to adults 18 years of age or older who live in North Carolina and have experienced violent crime (i.e., gunshot, stabbing and physical assault survivors)no matter how recent or how long ago the incident occurred. Meetings are held at the same time on the second Wednesday of each month. Facilitated by Dakia Davis, licensed clinical social worker.
